Bishop King Visits Statesboro FUMC

A few weeks ago Bishop King, Bishop for the South Georgia Conference of the UMC, came to Statesboro to speak to people in the district. He spoke passionately about the importance of "Growing a Christlike World" and the necessity of prayer. Here were a few of my take-away thoughts:

• local churches = "love stations"
• Manage, Magnify, Multiply: Manage the ministry to which God has called you, Magnify God in all you do, and Multiply disciples through discipleship
• "God of life and love, fill me with Your presence that I may do Your will in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen."
